Our programmes are delivered across five schools:
Business Technologies
NZSE’s business technology programmes prepare learners for the modern workplace — where strategic thinking meets digital innovation. You’ll gain expertise across entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, data management, human resources, and emerging technologies, learning how to apply them together to solve complex organisational challenges. Our programmes are designed to develop strong communicators, leaders, and decision-makers who understand how technology powers business growth.
Engineering
Interested in designing and building the systems that shape our world? Engineering at NZSE prepares learners with the technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to tackle key issues across industries, apply practical solutions to real-world challenges, and drive innovation. Through hands-on experience, learners develop the confidence to design, evaluate, and manage systems across a range of engineering contexts. Practical projects embedded in our programmes ensure that learners can apply theory to practice and build skills that are immediately relevant to the workplace.
Health
Contribute to the wellbeing of Aotearoa New Zealand by promoting wellness, preventing illness, and providing compassionate care where it matters most. With health professionals in high demand across the country, you’ll be stepping into a career that is both meaningful and future-proof. Led by passionate, experienced tutors, our holistic programmes integrate theory with practice, ensuring you graduate with the competence to deliver effective, hands-on care in hospitals, clinics, and community health environments.
Education
Education at NZSE equips learners with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience to make a lasting impact on children, young people, and their communities. From early childhood through to secondary school and youth work, our programmes provide extensive practical experience and cultural training. Learners are prepared to create engaging, inclusive, and mana-enhancing environments where young people can discover their strengths, participate actively, and confidently shape their own futures.
Tertiary Pathways
Whether your goal is to reconnect with education, gain practical skills, or take the first step towards a meaningful career, our pathways are here to help you rise to the challenge. For learners seeking structure, challenge, and purpose, ATC Military Prep offers military-style training that builds confidence, discipline, and leadership. These hands-on programmes can lead to pathways with the New Zealand Defence Force, Police, Fire & Emergency, Security, and other specialist services. For those who need to build confidence in literacy, numeracy, and language, our Foundation programmes provide the essential skills to open doors — whether that’s into further higher-level study or fast-growing industries like digital, retail, and hospitality.
At the heart of NZSE is a commitment to practical, applied learning. We believe graduates should leave with a work-ready toolkit — not just a qualification. That’s why our programmes are shaped by real-world experience, including work placements, internships, applied projects, hands-on training, and industry networking.
