This Bachelor in Business Information Management programme is designed to equip students with the specialist knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic business and technology environments. Students will develop expertise in business information systems, strategic communication, negotiation, reputation and brand management, crisis communication and more — using IT tools to support management in making informed decisions. Applicants are required to have:

University Entrance: (As specified by NZQA) NCEA Level 3 comprised of 60 Credits at NCEA Level 3 or above and 20 Credits at NCEA Level 2 or above, including one of the following:

International students must meet; the General Admission critera (or equivalent); the English language requirements; and hold a valid study visa to enrol in this programme.

Special admission could be provided based on the approval of the Academic Director.

In the final year of study, students bring together everything they’ve learned through a capstone project in business information management. The project is more than just an academic exercise; it simulates the kind of complex, team-based projects graduates will face in the workplace. Through planning, proposal design, and research, students will demonstrate their leadership, expertise in business information systems and management information systems, and initiative and graduate with hands-on project experience to take into their careers.
